The audition will be held in person and will consist of a lesson in classical, contemporary technique (pre-selection) and the presentation, if the pre-selection is passed,
of only one of a maximum of two minutes and in a motivational interview (final). The audition will be preceded by a workshop of three lessons (classical technique,
contemporary technique and improvisation). It is possible to participate in workshop and auditions or just auditions. workshop and audition (Saturday stage and Sunday audition) groups 1 and 2 fee 120 euros. Audition only (Monday) group 3 fee 50 euros

Dress code audition/clothing advice
- Tight-fitting clothing that clearly enables the viewer to observe your technique
- Do not wear skirts or baggy shorts, loose fitting t-shirts or costumes
- Ballet shoes are obliged for the ballet section
Seat of the lessons via Masi 7 Livorno ITALY. Registration to the A.E.D it is mandatory. All activities are aimed at members only. For the purposes of the association, the statute and the deed of incorporation consult the section "who we are" and "how to join". The fees paid will not be returned under any circumstances

Codarts – University of the Arts Codarts offers an exciting four year programme that prepares the future professional dancer for the current dance world. Many of the Codarts alumni are now working with the most prestigious choreographers and companies in the working field today. We have varied and experienced teachers, and an exciting repertoire of renowned, new generation and up-and-coming choreographers. Studying at Codarts gives also the opportunity to live in a vibrant and cultural city where dance is prominent on its main stages and in the communities. The Workshop Codarts has a rich and varied repertoire which has been built up over the years through a close and fruitful working relationship with some of the most innovative and important choreographers in the dance world. Our repertoire includes choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Ed Wubbe, Marco Goecke, Club Guy&Roni, and up and coming artists such as Adonis Foniadakis, Felix Landerer, Marina Mascarell and Cayetano Soto. During the workshop sections from ballets in our current repertoire will be taught.
Codarts aim to train talents to become top level contemporary dance artists.
The Codarts Bachelor of Dance department, founded in 1931 by dance pioneers Corrie Hartong and Gertrud Leistikow, has developed itself into one of the most prominent study programmes for contemporary dance. The programme has a high success rate and consistently ranks in the top rated and most popular dance courses in the world. The strength and effectiveness of the program is also reflected in the wide range of companies our alumni are employed in as well as the many alumni who are pursuing a successful career as independent dance artists.
The structure and build-up of our program, the numerous performance opportunities, our impressive internship program, our many international guest teachers and choreographers, as well as the dedicated care and support of our Codarts faculty and ‘’team around the artist’’ ensures that our graduates are ready to enter the diverse and ever changing international dance community. Codarts graduates are well trained, creative, open-minded and innovative contemporary dance artists, able to position themselves in the professional work field, mapping out their career of life-long learning and personal success.
