Dor Mamalia
He has performed works by William Forsythe, Marco Goecke, Emanuel Gat, Jacopo Godani, and Idan Sharabi. He has also collaborated with Georg Reichel, Brian Arias, Jo Strømgen, and Po-cheng Sai, among others.
In 2018, Dor co-founded the dance collective “Human Fields” with Dariusz Nowak, for which he has choreographed several works presented at numerous international festivals and theatres, including the Kibbut Zürich Festival, the Korzo Theatre in The Hague, and Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London, as well as in Amsterdam, Paris, Moscow, Regensburg, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tel Aviv, Gdańsk, Warsaw, Mexico City, at the Off Europa Festival in Leipzig, in Sicily, and in Kyiv.
Mamalia and Nowak also teach workshops and guest classes in various countries around the world, based on their distinctive movement language and contemporary dance technique.
Dor is also one of the eight ambassadors of the non-profit organisation “The What Dance Can Do”, which carries out volunteer work in Africa. DanceNews
