Contemporary dance audition
The audition will be held in presence on Sunday APRIL 25th and will consist of a lesson in classical and contemporary techniques and the presentation of a solo of a maximum of two minutes.

BA Contemporary dance Zurich
The BA in Contemporary Dance offered at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) is closely associated with Codarts Rotterdam. BA in Contemporary Dance draws on a direction in contemporary dance that is oriented toward various forms of academic or theatre dance (among others, classical ballet). The programme aims to develop the technical versatility and artistic development of future contemporary dancers.

Contemporary dance audition
Discover various styles of contemporary dance and achieve the highest levels of artistry. Welcome to the first university programme in Switzerland to offer contemporary dance including an innovative health programme as a core subject. The course links theory with practice, providing you with optimum preparation for a career as a professional dancer in the Swiss and international dance scene.
The BA in Contemporary Dance is a full-time course that equips you with the skills to dance at the highest artistic levels. ZHdK provides daily training sessions, courses, seminars and an opportunity for dance practice through project-based work. By studying the basics of dance techniques, learning about their historical and theoretical backgrounds and undergoing extensive professional training, you become autonomous and develop a sense of your artistic self, so that you are able to shape the professional field through your own practice.
Moreover, our students benefit from an excellent infrastructure, professional networks and opportunities to present their work on the university’s own stages or at external venues.
